TUM University Foundation

It is the task of the non-profit TUM University Foundation to support and specifically promote the strategic development of the Technical University of Munich. It promotes innovative university development projects outside of the state budget. The TUM University Foundation was established in 2010 by patrons from business and society with the aim of supporting campus projects and programs and giving TUM the financial freedom it needs to react quickly and flexibly to new developments. This funding instrument has created the financial basis for TUM's entrepreneurial activities.
