TUM Opens New Center for Organoids: A new, innovative biotechnology research center has opened its doors on the TUM Garching Campus: the Munich Institute for Biomedical Engineering (MIBE) is being significantly expanded with the addition of the Center for Organoid Systems (COS).

The organoids being studied there replicate organ functions with remarkable accuracy. They provide new insights into the human body and lay the groundwork for new treatments for common diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases.
