The European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC) is the first rocket launch competition for European university teams. The Portuguese Space Agency launched the competition in 2020 and has since brought together teams from various European countries in the Alentejo region. Due to its constant and sustained growth, the 2025 competition was supported by the Portuguese Army and the municipality of Constância.
Project Nixus by the WARR Rocketry student group
The Nixus project participated in the European Rocketry Challenge for the third time and was once again successfully launched! Despite technical challenges and adverse weather conditions, the team managed to launch on October 14, 2025. Twenty-eight teams competed, and only 13 of them were able to achieve a successful lift-off. The TUM University Foundation supports this project and congratulates the team on this great achievement!
