Foundation's purpose

The foundation's purpose is realized in particular through:

- the promotion of research projects
- institutional funding
- endowed professorships
- visiting lecturer programs
- support for scholarship programs established at TUM.

In addition, it informs the public about the concerns and progress of science and research, events, awards, networking and alumni work, and social projects at TUM. 

A particular concern of the foundation is to attract outstanding talent to the academic community at TUM.
